Suite Home Chicago   Photo: Passengers use O'Hare's suite as a way to relax between flights. O'Hare's suite entitled "Hands that Make Chicago Work," designed by Kenn Alex Levesque, is on display in Terminal 2, across from Cinnabon. Midway's suite entitled "500 Lines of Resolution," created by Aemeliano Juares, is located in the new Terminal Building adjacent to the new food court. Suite Home Chicago will be on display at both airports through October 13, 2001.

In 1999, Chicago's historical "Cows on Parade" exhibition attracted worldwide attention. This summer, as a sequel to the "Cows on Parade," the Department of Cultural Affairs is presenting "Suite Home Chicago," an exhibition of urban street furniture designed by local artists. More than 400 original works of art created in the form of fibreglass sofas, chairs, ottomans and television sets are on display in parkways and plazas throughout the City and at O'Hare International and Midway Airports.
