March 19, 2012: I-294/I-90 Roadwork Alert

Construction on the I-294/I-90 Tri-Level Bridge Rehabilitation Project resumed on Sunday, March 18, 2012.

The work involves a full closure of the ramp bridge carrying I-294 northbound traffic to the westbound Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-190) and full closure of the eastbound I-190 ramp from O'Hare International Airport to westbound I-190.

A detour is in place and will continue through early July 2012.

Electronic message signs are in place to alert motorists to the ramp closure and detour.

Due to this roadwork project, motorists exiting O'Hare International Airport on I-190 may experience traffic delays. Please visit www.illinoistollway.com for more information.
